Quote
"Lord you are a treasure no one can take away from me. When I give myself to you, I’m afraid I’ll lose my mind.”
“It’s time for mind to lose you."

— from “First Symposium,” a prose poem by Max Jacob.

This website searches through all tweets posted and makes rhyming couplets out of them. Because of the automated nature of it, a lot of them are nonsensical, but there are some really wonderful ones in the mix, if you’re willing to sift through the rest.

Some enjoyable couplets that I came across:

decisions and plans
i need pots and pans

Why did I wake up and why am I still awake?
It’s Thursday, and tonight I need to bake a cake.

it’s raining so hard and I think that’s just great
good things come to those who wait and wait and wait

even though you’re singing and thinking how well you’ve got it made,
I just looked at this week’s calendar, and I’m very afraid.

I’m overwrought and so disgraced. And I’m too ashamed to show my face.
Oh, and apparently The Government is more complex than Space.
